I hold a BFA in Acting from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and spent the better part of my adult life performing for audiences large and small. I have performed for audiences of 200+ people, but some of my favorite shows and experiences have been when audiences numbered at 20 or under—something I lovingly define as the Chicago actor’s version of a “Chicago Handshake.”
Some of my favorite collaborators include The SlamFam Ensemble, Mudlark Theatre Company, Organic Theatre Company, Red Tape Theatre, Chicago SlamWorks, MOZAWA, and The Right Brain Project.
In addition to my work on stage, I served as the Managing Director and resident Graphic Designer at The Right Brain Project from 2012 to 2017. I then joined Red Tape in 2018 as an Ensemble Member and one of the Marketing Managers until early 2022. I was also an Ensemble Member at Chicago SlamWorks until its dissolution in 2017, and would go on to form The SlamFam Ensemble in 2021 with many of my SlamWorks collaborators.
